2018 is turning out to be an interesting year for SplashDog so far. Leigh Anne and I are feeling the itch to implement some changes we’ve been thinking about for some time.
One change is that our website is being redesigned. Based on input we have had from clients and others, we are streamlining our site. We want it to be uncluttered, bright and straightforward. Our wonderful designer, Dawn of 2 the Schultzs has been a huge help updating us on our options and implementing the changes. We want our new website to not only be informative, but allow access to services, products and knowledge our clients have interest in.
With the re-design of our website we realized the need for beautiful high quality images to show the scope of what we do at SplashDog Canine Well-Being Center. We are not just a warm water therapy pool. Therapeutic work has been and will continue to be our specialty but we do much more. We had a day long (nearly 12 hour) photo shoot yesterday to try and capture a bit of everything we do. Thanks to Carol Whitfield, photographer extraordinaire, we will have beautiful, fun, heart-warming photos as a highlight of our new sight. Based on the peeks we had yesterday, I anticipate many hours of admiring the photos of our sweet canine clients. My only regret is that we can’t get every one of our clients represented. But, thanks to Instagram and Facebook we try to capture many of them for everyone to enjoy.
The last change that came about from redesigning the website is an updated logo. Don’t worry, our Springer Spaniel with floppy the ears is still representing SplashDog. We want to continue to honor Tory the dog that launched SplashDog in 2004 and Nina Purcell the artist that captured her and the essence of SplashDog as a water therapy service. We will reveal the new logo design with the new website.
We are excited about the fresh new face we are about to present. We hope you will enjoy the changes.
